Substantial Internet Disruption Impacts Dozens Online Platforms and Applications

A widespread web failure has affected many websites and applications globally, as users noting issues connecting to the web following issues at the online infrastructure platform.

The affected apps comprise Snapchat, the gaming platform Roblox, the messaging service Signal, and Duolingo, as well as several Amazon-owned platforms like its primary shopping platform and the Ring doorbell company.

Across the United Kingdom, Lloyds bank was disrupted in addition to its branches Halifax and the Scottish bank, while there were further notifications of issues accessing the the tax authority site on the start of the week. Also in the UK, multiple Ring users used social media to state their home gadgets were not working.
